Thinking about using Walraven Yeti® support feet?

Have a look at some quick FAQs to help you decide

What can I support with Walraven Yeti® solutions?

The Walraven Yeti® range can support pipework, heat pumps, ductwork, cable trays, HVAC equipment, walkways, and other strut-based support frames. Different models are available for light-duty up to heavy-duty applications. Our Technical team can advise and provide recommendations and designs based on your installation requirements.

What makes Walraven Yeti® feet different to standard support feet?

Our solutions are engineered for performance and durability. Unlike many standard solutions, Walraven Yeti® feet are tested and certified for UV resistance and noise reduction. All feet are made from 93-100% recycled materials (depending on foot type), and the integrated strut channel on the Walraven Yeti® Type A Rubber Foot has our BUP 1000 surface protection for enhanced corrosion resistance compared to HDG.

Can Walraven Yeti® support feet be used on sloping or pitched surfaces?

Yes. The Walraven Yeti® 480 support foot has built-in pitch adjustment up to 7° for easy installation on sloping surfaces. Simply tilt the centrre section and tighten into place. We also have hinged brackets available for our Yeti® 335 foot.

Are they suitable for heavy rooftop installations?

Yes, Walraven Yeti® support feet are designed to distribute loads across a larger surface area, helping to reduce point loading on the roof. They are also non-penetrative so can be used on delicate rooftop membranes. Additional ballast options are available when you need increased stability. If you have doubts, contact our experts!
